Part of my "brain" tells me that anything to set people on the road to growing their own food has to be a good thing - especially if supported by the delicious Alys
Another part is bothered about the "trendiness" of "pledging", the talk of "gurus" and the worry that growing and producing food is being made to sound just too simple. I imagine the disappointment when a lettuce in a pot proves to be rather insubstantial as a crop, leading people to give up before they've really got going. Added to that, I wonder how much it costs and whether it will prove cost-effective.
Go on, tell me what to believe.
