I think batteries and track were said to have gone missing....but it was a major tall order to attempt 10 miles.
Perhaps should have gone with Hornby Dublo 3 rail..
Or...something a fraction larger...to ride behind...like I had the privilege of doing for 25 years, wearing another of my many hats...but that was not then a toy....it is real the real thing.. engineered in miniature..

I have always liked the idea of having 2rail 00 gauge out in the garden...it is done, and with long track runs full length trains can be run
