Walk into your dearests kitchen, move a few things about, then say, "that looks a bit tidier", then leave with all possible haste. :)

Dear OH, I take it you have just learned that lesson from personal experience? You're more than welcome to come into my kitchen and try a repeat performance. Our loft, study and garage would also benefit from your obviously expert skills.

Dear Primrose, that was something i said a good while back, the reason it came to mind was, i was just day-dreaming about the odd silly things i have said through my life. :)

Dear Richard, i would have thought if you just say, how old am i this year, this should suffice nicely. :)
Kind Regards, Old Herbaceous.

Some years ago in the pub a friend of mine was asked to descibe his perfect woman. He said: 'Someone who's a cross between Raquel Welch and Mrs Beeton' (Shows how old he was!). 'And I married her!' he continued.
'Really?' said someone.
'Yes' he replied. 'She cooks like Raquel Welch and makes love like Mrs Beeton!'.

Hmmm, well as Mrs Beeton died when she was 29 (allegedly of syphilis) and wasn't a bad looker either, I'm not sure how to take that comment

Don't get on a plane and greet your mate by shouting "Hi! Jack".
