Thanks, your parcel arrived for me this morning. I'll be out and rubbing before you know it!

Ooh you smutty minded Sherrif you, JB sent me some mistletoe berries which I need to rub into my apple tree bark.
My correction for Piglet was his Italian, nothing more than that.

According to his email
"To sow the berries it is best to just press the berries into a bark scale. Do not rely on one or two as the mice and birds may find them."
I did have it in the back of my mind that they can be poisonous. As my apple tree is over the chicken run, would this be a problem? Are they poisonous to some and not others?

Hi Chantal,
I rather think that the Berries will not do the Chickens any harm BUT I do not know if they may pass some toxins on in their egg. I do not quite know where to go for advice. Hoping John may read this as he is sure to know or at least know where to enquire.
