Mr. PH
I think you're very brave to bring in a 'new look' - There's a saying (Can't remember who first used it) "You'll never please all of the people all of the time"
At least by reading this thread I've learned how to change the text size on forums which will be of help to me on some other sites.
My vote would go for the old one but if the new one becomes the default I guess I'll get used to it.........eventually!!
(A quote from Manuel in Faulty Towers BTW)
New look!

As for Peats problem... which browser are you using?

One final note. Some websites do lock their font-size, but both Firefox, and the new IE7 zoom function are no respecters of this, and will change it anyway
Hactually, Senor Potato, Manuels cousin Pedro here, it was the number of characters available within the box that I find to be the problem. Hit ize a squitty little box and on the next line your quote of "One Final note" is now top-of-box.
BT Yahoo Browser, no sidebars at all and a laptop with a two button nipple mouse.
(One female friend once compared it to a more personal peice of her physiology!)
Do not put off thanking people when they have helped you, as they may not be there to thank later.

I can get the old format for the index page and then when I click on a topic it's straight into Wimpole. It's all a plan to drive us crazy. Ok, crazier.
Also, why are some headings in black and some in blue? Is this another code?

And i'm going to stick with it as long as i can.

Has anybody thought of having a poll to find the most popular format. The mechanism exists.
As an erstwhile friend used to say to me "If it ain't broke don't fix it"
Incidentally, does the new format allow post-editing, if so I have yet to find it.

BTW Chantal, the headings are in black / blue depending on which ones you've clicked recently. (Blue is for those that you haven't clicked recently)
