saving seed/beans for next year

hi,
I have got loads of rummer and broad beans left on my plants. I've read that they can be saved for next years use, but i'm not sure when they should be taken from the plant and how they should be stored. any help would be appreciated

Hi,
Is this film at the cinema only or out on dvd?
My brother is too ill to get to the cinema but would enjoy the film I'm sure, if it was available on dvd...

Just to say thank you to all that replied... i now have enough info to go plant these seeds and will be waiting in earnest to see whether they taste like: asparagus, cereal boxes or beer lol

I'm going to grow asparagus pea for the first time this year. Can anyone tell me how tall it gets and does it need a wigwam or support of some kind? the seed packet doesnt give much information

how do I know when my runner beans are big enough to pick and save for next years sowing? and how do i dry/save them? This is all new to me!!!

Have got a gorgeous golden hop that has produced a mass of hops this year...are they the same as the wild hops? can I make beer with them? would love to know before i put them in the compost bin!!!

Another taster for slugs....

Hi, I've tried several different methods all to no avail...so I've gone back to my old favourite: Salt.... I just pour salt over the little darlings...not too much and watch them curl up!!! the best time to go looking is first thing in the morning and just before dusk or after rain...you'll be amaze...

Hi,
This is my first time on the kitchen garden forum so hope I'm doing it right lol....

I would like to grow a grape vine outdoors. I would like a white seedless variety if there is one suitable. Does anyone know of a suitable variety?
