Seed sowing device

Having just sowed 180 leek seeds by eye in modules,can anyone recomend an amateur seed sowing device that will enable me to sow single seeds without going mad behind my rather thick glasses!

I wonder if anyone could advize?I have been offered a second hand mountfield rotary mower(1 year old and half price)but the primer bulb on the carb has been chewed by mice.it isn't punctured yet but is pretty damaged!!.Are they available as spares/hard to replace/do I have to buy a complete carb ass...

Probably a silly question but can you eat spuds that are sprouting.My desiree spuds were "concreted in"during the drought and I was late lifting them,now they are sprouting,are they edible,carcinogenic ,edible or should I compost the lot?Thanks for any advice,Ferret.

re last post is malathion a nasty withdrawn chemical as I bought mine from the van hague garden centre chain last May to spray lupins and it was recomended by them then!(I have checked the date on the bill)Should I dispose of it?ferret

Dear All,If it is of use to anyone I seem(touch wood)to have erradicated the dreaded beetle for the time being by using two doses of malathion and two doses of liquid derris alternatively over three weeks and it appears the little blighters have gone and the precious fronds are all growing strongly....

Having waited so long to harvest my first asparagus(wonderful)I am now infested with asparagus beetle,and they seem to thrive on liquid Derris,I am now trying repeat sprays of Malathion but this seems to have little effect.Does anyone have any advice as,at the moment I am squashing them in my finger...
