Hi John

Many thanks for the reply, a bit of reassurance goes a long way.

I'll wait a while and see how it goes, and if it becomes more of a problem i will get some magnesium.

Many thanks again, Mike

Potato plants with yellow leaves

Hi folks, My potato's look great fit and healthy, but on my visit to see them tonight i noticed some of the leaves on one or two plants are becoming yellow. Even though some of the leaves are yellows they still look healthy. So far it has affected about 2 out of the 20 plants. Any ideas anybody. htt...

Many Thanks OH,

The radishes look good, but

it was my first attempt with carrots, and i was a bit over zealous with the scattering of the seeds, I will now for next year.

Thinning Out

I need to thin out some carrots and radishes that i planted about 4 weeks ago, I have read various articles of how to do this, but they dont say how much space to leave between each shoot.

Could someone give me some advice please.

Thanks Mike

Am i supposed to completely cover the the greenery with earth, and let the plant keep fighting for the light, or am i supposed to let the greenery through and just keep the ...

Pidgeons

We have had about 4 resident pidgeons who have been around for the last 4 years, since i have started planting vegetables, they have become a lot more interested in what i am doing, and quite often they would land on the frame work of my raised plot and investigate. I have decided to put a net over ...
