We have had about 4 resident pidgeons who have been around for the last 4 years, since i have started planting vegetables, they have become a lot more interested in what i am doing, and quite often they would land on the frame work of my raised plot and investigate.

I have decided to put a net over the the frame, but my wife was worried that the pidgeons could become entangled in the mesh.

Unfortunately the images is not too good, but if you have a look at the top cross member, especially against the roof of the house in the background, I have put cable ties round the cross pole with the tails of the ties sticking up.

We now have nets over the framework, and the pidgeons are safe and sound.

Dear Mike, it looks as if you have killed two birds with one stone.
Sorry about that.

Nice job by the way.
Kind Regards, Old Herbaceous.
