And why do local planning authorities still allow homes to be built on flood plains? I know houses are in short supply but surely at least they could be built on stilts if appropriate structures could be approved ? Would would have thought the name, FLOOD PLANES, would have been a clue to the Autho...

Watched neighbour loaded her two youngsters into car to take them to school. By road about just over a mile, walking through the park, some two hundred odd yards. :? :?

Remember some years ago visiting another allotment site, talking to a plot-holder [I think a Pole ] He was just starting up his mower, blade a bit high, and mowed his Strawberry-bed, yes you have read it right.
