First thursday of the month. Job for the day. Pop down to W H Smith. Pick up my copy of KG. Not on the shelf again. Found Ricky, the manager. Where is it? They forgot last month to put it on the shelf. He replies I don't think were stocking it any more.
Now have to go 7 miles from the town to a village who will get it for me. Will have to save up the pennies and order direct. But that is a loss of advertising for the mag.

I think you can pay with a direct debit by installments if you subscribe.

Yeah I've just looked it up and you're right, but I could have sworn I was sent a letter saying I could when my subscription was due. I'm getting old and forgetful though, as you all know... :?

I could reserve it. But if a large chainstore can't stock it I'll give the small village shop my custom.
I will keep my eye out for the next good offer they give on subscription. I meant to the last time but spent the money on seeds.

It's more reliable by post and the subscription includes delivery on time as well as saving you money. I can't see any point in a 2 year subscription

You can buy single issues online... and they're usually through your postbox the next day!!!

I missed the last number on blueberries, which is a subject dear to me. How can I get one? I`ll visit my sister a few days after easter and again in June. She lives north of London.
