.....to cycle though Europe to Brindisi,catch the ferry to Athens,then try to visit every Greek island served by a ferry.
Still harbouring this dream after forty years.Originally went to sea to save money to fund the dream,supplementing this fund by working at whatever casual job I could do.No rush,take my time,take in the sights and go where my fancy took me.
Obviously it hasn't worked out for me,yet;but with retirement looming I have been threatening my wife of forty or so years that it is time for me to spread my wings and leave the nest!!
Not going to happen in reality,so it remains what it is,my dream.

Mine is to visit Rorke's Drift.

Mine is to live to a hundred, without getting grumpy!

Mine is , once last Daughter has settled, to sell up and move to the south of France

To be sufficiently wealthy to not have to worry about keeping a job long enough to be able to then worry about the size of my pension.........
