We have found our onions have downy mildew
We have pulled them all up and cut the necks and put them in the pt in the racks pointing downward through the racks. This was suggested to us by another allotmenteer we did ti in a bit of a panic and now we are wondering if we have done the right thing. Looking at other people on the plot they have the same problem. Have we done the wrong thing????

If you have the time see my reply to Alan on synergistic gardening on how to arm your plants against this it takes a bit of time to change methods, I am still converting mine.

Sit down before a fact as a little child, be prepared to give up every preconcieved notion, follow humbly wherever and to whatever abyss nature leads, or you shall learn nothing.
