I have often read with great dismay when forum members have reported theft from or vandalism to their allotments and sheds. It seems that the lowlife are all around us these days with their evil heads festuring with some anti social ideas to get at the decent members of our society. A neighbour of my son wanted to borrow my vintage JCB that was parked in the corner of a field overnight; now minus its battery and radiator. These items had not been stolen for use as they were levered off damaging other parts in the process. Batteries and radiators fetch good money as scrap now and plenty get nicked by the lowlife. Luckily I found an old Landrover radiator and a battery from another tractor to move it but it still leaves me with the repair and lost time. There seems to be an unhealthy interest from some lowlife travelling types in any form of agricultural machinery left unattended at present.

I just hope that the next Government gets to grip with all the anti social vandals and thieves that have had it all their way for too long bit there again pigs might fly.

they have been round our allotment sites nicking the taps, just cutting them off the plastic pipe, leaving the water gushing out.

I read that in our area a chap was found inside a sub station electicuted and cutting tools beside him. obviously going to nick copper cable and sell it for scrap. what amuses me is that he is a good bloke and never hurt a fly has 120 convictions for previous but was a good boy? who are you trying to kid. he was out for one thing. we also have had a problem with some taking carp and roach from a small pool belonging to a local club. I hope they get thier cun upence aswell but this government or any any other for that fact have lost the plot. they listen to these bl---y do gooders who say this and that but should the worm turn on them cry unfair. I was glad to see that the young lad who killed someone breaking into his moms house accidently in a violent struggle was allowed to go free. perhaps there is some justice after all in certain areas and I lve in hope.
