I have just transplanted about 300 wallflowers, they will be planted out on the allotment about the middle of August where the early potatoes were grown, my question now is should I sprinkle lime on the ground when I plant them out like you do with cabbages to prevent clubroot?.

Dear Bren,
if you have club root on your plots then the answer is yes as they are members of the cabbage family.

Thanks Sally I will keep the lime handy as some of the cauliflowers had clubroot last year but none of the cabbages.
