Hi All
In a previous posting (Tools and Machinery) I talked about some scaffolding net I had purchased for making a Brassica Cage, I have now constructed it basically it is a box one metre high and 1.2 metre wide and 6 or so metres long. I have pegged down the edges with 12 inch pla tstic pegs but there is a little gap of an inch or so as the net is pulled taught, in between the pegs. Do you think that the cabbage white will get under this or should I be more precise and some how block that Gap?

I think they will get in Compo. Could you heap up the soil a little bit all the way round? We have a brassica cage with netting holes about 2cm square, and last year some little buggers folded up their wings and squeezed through.
