I have bought two bags of the same brand of compost this year and have found glass shardes in both! My oh has e-maied them and they have requested we send the glass back in the provided envelope with the bags and production codes stamped on them. They also sent £20 in vouchers, but who uses gloves with baged compost? Would you except £20 if you cut your hands?

The dangers of people putting normal waste in their composting bin.
Do not put off thanking people when they have helped you, as they may not be there to thank later.
