What can I do to stop or prevent earwigs eating my sweet peppers and chillis ? Last year in one of my polytunnels I lost about 50% of the fruit to these pests

Good morning Pete, a tried and tested way of keeping the numbers down is to fill small flowerpots with straw and place them upside down on canes amongst your pepper plants.
If you check these each morning, you will find the earwigs have gone into the straw, dispose of the earwigs how ever you wish.
It's surprising how quick you can keep them in check this way.

A warm welcome to the forum too.
Kind Regards, Old Herbaceous.

Thanks for that OH, I have heard of this method will give it a go. Not that i am a great fan of chemicals (only use when I have to) Is there a spray or powder that I could use if all else fails ?
