Hi Alia
What a brilliant idea!
I bet that could really take off here in the UK right now, with the growing trend for home-grown produce. There are lots of people who want to eat fresh, organic veg and have the garden space available, but lack the time / ability / desire to cultivate it themselves, and lots more people who would love to do the 'farming'. That includes me - I would love to be able to turn my obsession with veg-growing into a career :D

Hi, Alan
I had forgotten about Hugh’s scheme, even though I’ve been watching his latest series.
However, I’m not sure it would offer any career opportunities, whereas the one Alia refers to definitely sounds to have a commercial edge to it.
Don’t get me wrong – I think the Landshare idea is a brilliant idea. But I already spend all my spare time tending my allotment, and what I dream of is a new career where I would get paid for doing something similar for other people!
If only I could afford to give up the day job :(

it looks like he's had queries from the uk already... he posted in the "comments" section of the article, so seems pretty approachable. no reason you can't contact myfarm.com directly-- at least to get connected to whomever else is contacting him from the uk. :D
