Complaining, I think.

It's rained nearly all night, and turned to that fine heavy drizzle all morning.
I've called it a day at work today as i'm soaked through to my under garments. :)

It does seem to be some exceptionally wet rain today. :?
Kind Regards, Old Herbaceous.

That's the worst sort of rain, the wet stuff

We've missed it so far today, so we might stay dry with any luck.

Cheers, PJ.

OH

Can you send your undergarments up here and I'll wring them out on our courgettes and pumpkins.

Many thanks in advance.

Last night it rained here but not enough to wet a postage stamp but enough to make me Tedder 18 acres of Hay again this morning. I have my fingers crossed that the fairly light breeze will dry it out sufficiently to bale later on this afternoon.
Surprisingly the sun is trying to come through the cloud cover with periods of extreme light and then it fades alternating every few minutes.
This will be the finish of my very last Hay Crop EVER!

Dear Johnboy, i think that will call for a drop of the strong stuff when your last hay crop has been safely gathered.

The memories of hay making always bring back thoughts of happy and one or two sad times.
Kind Regards, Old Herbaceous.

Hi John Boy. Are you early with your hay down there because we are no where near making hay in Pendle the grass is still growing. Though a lot of the fields have been cleared for silage. Do you mean your last hay ever or just this year. :? We've had drizzle this morning with low and heavy cloud but this afternoon it is really nice and bright. Just having a cup of tea then of the the lottie. :D Then a quick visit to the mother in laws after her holiday.

Alan - have been very lucky here a bit further down in Carmarthen. I was away in Norway last week, enjoying the sunshine - bit of Scotch mist on the Monday but otherwise lovely and dry. But back here it rained every day. Not too much but enough to keep everything going well. Fingers crossed!
