Hi there, sorry to go on about this (see earlier post) but my polytunnel comes on Monday and I want to get it right. Are 6x1 gravel boards substantial enough for raised beds in a tunnel? How do you fix them in place?

you need some tile batten chopped into 18 inch lengths banged into the ground as posts to screw the boards to. or on our ground foot lengths cos you hit layered limestone at about 4 inches deep :D
tile batten is the wood bits on the roof that the tiles sit on, about 20x 30 mm usuually pre treated with preservative, any good diy store should have it in stock, may be in quite long bits so you made need a saw to cut it to get it in the car.
