Ants

Can't identify that mould? Got a great tip for keeping slugs at bay? Suggestions for organic weed control? Post them here...

This is not strictly a garden type question but as ants start out outside before they come in........ :D

I was recently given a present of a small rechargeable screw driver (it's brilliant) but on Friday plugged it in to recharge in a different place..on a kitchen work top. Came home some several hours later to find said screw driver covered in ants . They seemed to be attracted by the faint hum it gives out. Switched it off and they all disppaered...any idea what that was all about? Have I discovered a way of ridding places of ants?

Good morning Joy i have never heard anything like that before.

But i would be careful, you might end up attracting ants from a two mile radius. :)
Kind Regards, Old Herbaceous.

Weird isn't it? perhaps they are alien ants? Would have thought that it was a bit early for ants to be out and about..totally weird!!! :!: :!: :?:

Very strange, Joy.
Worth investigating though - you may have stumbled on a final solution to the ant problem!
