Thankyou for the reminder Richard.
I'll put the Church clock forward
an hour first thing in the morning.
The best thing will be we get an extra hour of doing things tomorrow.

Well, the luxury of an extra hour in bed was nice, but when you balance that against the fact that my husband had to spend about an hour this morning going round the house changing all the wretched timing devices on equipment (and calling "Where's the damned manual for the cooker/microwave/Hi Fi/telephone, etc.) we have a time deficit somewhere! Not to mention the fact that my car clock will be an hour out of synch for the next six months because I can never figure out how to change it. And the afternoons get dark at 4 p.m. which always makes me feel depressed and grumpy.

Personally I'd much prefer to keep Summer time - all the time. So the mornings are darker - Fine by me!
Weather this week is looking really nice - with a chance of hitting 20c - except now by the time we all home from work - it's dark already!
Driving home in the dark is always depressing..

Ask the members who live in the north of Scotland about that one

True - but in the North of Scotland it's less than seven hours from sunrise to sunset - which is an hour less daylight than you get.
