Thankyou for the reminder Richard. :)

I'll put the Church clock forward  an hour first thing in the morning.

The best thing will be we get an extra hour of doing things tomorrow. :)
Kind Regards, Old Herbaceous.

But why on earth do we have to go through this totally unneccessary process twice a year? :x

   Well i thought i was going to have an extra hour for work but the computer has been messing about all day. And if theres one thing that does rattle me it's technical things not working, and small portions of cake.

But all this means nothing now, as Jopsy is back on the K.G forum, yippee hooray, thats really made my day. :D :D

Welcome back Jopsy. :D :)

Well, the luxury of an extra hour in bed was nice, but when you balance that against the fact that my husband had to spend about an hour this morning going round the house changing all the wretched timing devices on equipment (and calling "Where's the damned manual for the cooker/microwave/Hi Fi/telephone, etc.) we have a time deficit somewhere! Not to mention the fact that my car clock will be an hour out of synch for the next six months because I can never figure out how to change it. And the afternoons get dark at 4 p.m. which always makes me feel depressed and grumpy.

Personally I'd much prefer to keep Summer time - all the time. So the mornings are darker - Fine by me!

Weather this week is looking really nice - with a chance of hitting 20c - except now by the time we all home from work - it's dark already!

Driving home in the dark is always depressing..

Ask the members who live in the north of Scotland about that one :!:

But the daylight hours remain the same :? so why do we have to change?

True - but in the North of Scotland it's less than seven hours from sunrise to sunset - which is an hour less daylight than you get.
