Whilst weeding on my allotment today, I noticed a wonderful aroma.

Looking around, I couldn't see the source. Then it struck me it was coming from the flowers on the Sweetcorns I was walking amongst!

I've noticed this before from the flowers of things like Artichokes, but never on "normal" veg. :?: Have any of you noticed other examples like this?

The smell of wild rocket flowers is amazing, it's like honey and not at all like the smell of the rocket. :D

I always pick rocket flowers to have in the house. They make the room smell fabulous and that cream and brown mixture is quite striking. And then I can pretend that I deliberately let them run to seed!

Good idea - mine always manage to go to seed, no matter how carefully I try to look after them.
