What other hobbies do you have other than gardening ? Any unusual ones ? My late Mother used to breed mealyworms to feed the birds. I design and make gollies other than that nothing unusual.
Make it a habit to be happy
Like Jane, a bookworm, but also I am a rugby player and am passionate about scuba diving.
I too am a bookworm and I avidly do the Saturday Telegraph General Knowledge Crossword. I also like the Code Words as sometimes they are quite challenging.
My main hobby is birdwatching and have done this since my 8th birthday when I was given the newly published Observers Book of Birds by my great aunt. That was before WW2 so it has been a long time and is still so exciting. Only today I was watching a pair of Great Spotted Woodpeckers feed their three young on my lawn and they were there for nearing an hour. I was in seventh heaven!

I am also a bookworm. I love reading and can't settle at night unless i've read a good few chapters. I'm also a history buff and i'm researching my family tree.
I also like walking, trips to the countryside and music. I like animals too.

Definitely a bookworm. I also do a lot of counted cross stitch, but this generally has to be during the winter months when I can't garden as my hands get too rough and the silks shred. Yes, I do wear gloves almost all the time, but it still seems to happen.
The Telegraph crosswords too, particularly the cryptic ones, learning Italian and I seem to spend a lot of time on a particular gardening forum.

Oh how could I have forgotten looking after Rosie cat and the chickens
Rosie is very time consuming occupation, especially in the middle of the night...

I fish for salmon and trout in the local river and also fish the sea as well.
Also like taking things apart and trying to make them work or function better.
Used to drive HGV's as a full time job up to a year and a half ago .Now I just do a load out at the weekend to Rugby to keep in touch with my mates.
