I can't help you with either of these hoes but my real favourite is the Wolf push-pull type. See an example at:

It has a double serrated edge and cuts on the 'push' and the return 'pull'. They are not cheap as they are part of the Wolf multi-fit system and you have buy the pole separately. Mine is one of the very early ones that took any old wooden handle.
I seem to remember that when this came up on forum before it got lots of favourable comments.
