Grow Your Own Veg from the perspective of the new gardener

Hi
I watched Carole's programme tonight. I'm trying to be positive and also trying to put myself in the shoes of a potential new veg. grower. I could see how the ptogramme might entice people to find out more - and it is so easy. By clicking onto the programme on the BBC web site there was no problem in finding the links to sites that are actually helpful (but not KG). Made me realise that my media expectatons might be a bit stuck in the past with Mr. Smith and Arthur B. OK so the show is visually rich but information poor (those broad beans were well past it when they were picked) but maybe such programmes work as kind of trailers for those who want to find out more?
