Jopsy, don't worry and I'll leave this message here so that everyone knows.
When someone registers as a member, they fill in the form and then submit this for approval by Mr PH. When he sees someone like "Teenlovera" he doesn't approve that person as a member so the new "member" can't post anything but stays as a guest. In most cases these are robots that are registering anyway, not real people apparently.
Anyway, by leaving the new "member" on the list, it stops anyone registering again from that address, that's why Mr PH leaves them there.
If you look at the list of "members" there are a lot of dodgy ones but you'll notice that they never post anything.
So, don't worry, just ignore them.

Hmmmmm, age 40 something, hair receding, angst level quite high at present, absolutely no spare time though.

I have slightly changed my action on dodgy registrations, as they have (despite my best efforts) been building up again. Nobody that registers will be viewable on the memberlist, until they have been authorised by me! So the snake-oil people won't even be seen, let alone be able to post anything unless I say so...
