My Mum has just come back from Sweden and she says they add a sprouting seed to their salads that she says was radish although does not sound like it to me. It looked a bit like a beansprout but tasted a bit hot and was crunchy, about an inch long and white with a little yellow or green 'ball' on the end.
Any ideas as to what this could be?
What veg is this?

It could well be radish, or broccoli. Apparently sprouted brassica seeds are nice and peppery, and look just like a small beansprout! I have bought some, and a sprouting jar, but haven't got round to 'sprouting' any just yet!

thanks for the replies.
The seeds are not triangular so I think maybe it is sprouted radish as they are a peppery.
I will have to give it a go
Thanks
