It's bizzarre that everyone wants to talk about spuds tonight!! Mr Fothergills have seng me a seed talogue, as they probably have most KG folk. Has anyone got any good experience of the cold stored late spuds, surely they have to be fleeced come sep / oct or they will get the first frost. I could plant em in containers and put em in the greenhouse, was thinking of that with some late carrots too, has anyone else grown these late spuds??

I've grown them in pots in an unheated tunnel - some for Christmas and others for Easter. Worked well.

I planted some out as per instructions, but by about october they had all rotted away. Waste of money.
