Shay Rotogardener 80

Postby Steve Rowat » Tue Sep 04, 2018 6:54 am

I live in New Zealand and have recently acquired a Shay Rotogardener 80 which, after a little "fettling", burst into life and appears to run well. My current Two Stroke mix is 25:1 Unleaded 91 and a modern 2-Stroke oil. Is this OK for the older older J.A.P. motor or should I be using 96 octane and a 20:1 (or richer) mix to avoid engine seiziure?
