i have a son with 6yeas old and very cute and smart . of cause i love him very much .i always try my best to play with him when i am free and he really enjoys this . but recently i am so busy even don't have enough time to have dinner so don't have any time to play with him as well . i know he is lonely because he is my only child . last night he went to my room and asked :" mom ,do you love me ?" i told him :"sure ! i love you so much !! sweetheart" he seemed not happy and continue asked :" then .do you know what is love " i was a little bit confused at that moment and answered :" oh ! love is care and i will try my best to give you the best ! " my son stood in front of me and stared at my eyes and said with a very tender voice:" mom . love is to be accompanied !" he left after said this word .

i was so shocked !! yes .he was right ! what they need most is to be accompanied.

as mom i always think that i did well .actually it is not .........

Well you have a pretty.bright 6 year old with an excellent vocabulary if he already knows what the word "accompanied " means!
It,s a fact of life that time is always the most precious commodity we have. It sometimes takes the simplicity of a child's mind to get us back to basics. I'm sure you do a wonderful job as a parent. Children don't t seem to be mindful of grubby clothes, un ironed shirts or dust on surfaces so perhaps there are activities where you can compromise a little to be able to spend a little more quality time with him.
