Seeing Pa Snip's mention of the phrase "you can lead a horse to water ...", reminds me that, for a few years, I have tried to re-find the correct faux latinisation of this phrase which includes the part "...equine quadruped to the aqueous solution ...". My ancient brain cannot recall the full version. Can anybody help?

Searches on Google have not brought any results.

In the same vein, I have always liked "monolithic duo-avicide" for "killing two birds with one stone"!

Too cold and wet in the garden at the moment, PaSnip (snow on the hills!), but I did sow some broad beans and peas in roottrainers today.
