I posted a topic a few weeks ago - raging about a plant house which my family bought me. It was really shoddy. I contacted the supplier (Kings Seeds)and the manufacturer (remaining nameless unless you look at the old thread!) to complain. Kings got back to me straight away and arranged for the manufacturer to send a new one. Still hadn't received it yesterday (despite promise it would be despatched after Easter) so e-mailed Kings again. They got straight back on to manufacturer and plant house arrived today.

Brick bats to manufacturer who still haven't contacted me and have had to be chased (a) because original order was late; (b) re complaint and (c) re response to complaint.

Gold star to Kings as they have pursued this on my behalf and have responded immediately to e-mails and phone calls. Definitely ordering my seeds from Kings next year!

Grock

Do have an allotment but no society - only 3 of 9 plots taken and haven't seen another allotment holder this year so not much chance of bulk buy for me! I'm rather envious of all you plot holders who actually get to speak to other allotmenteers.

Don't know if I should mention this but my last allotment neighbour popped his clogs on the plot - hope that's how I go (in a very very long time from now).

Been thanked: 1 time

If you've got to go, it may as well be doing something you love. I'd much rather turn my toes up on my lottie than in some souless hospital somewhere... :?
