Made my first lot of pumpkin soup on Saturday. Yummy! :D

Used the smallest pumpkin, weighing in at 3.7 kilos! I used half of it for soup to serve 6. So, that means that my smallest pumpkin will make soup for 12. FAB!! :D :D

Now i'm not boasting, but i have a pumpkin that weighs over 30 kilos, not sure what i am going to do with it.

I have to keep moving it about with a very strong sack-barrow... :)
Kind Regards, Old Herbaceous.

Hi OH :D

You have me beat with your 30kg pumpkin as mine is 27.7kg or 62.5lbs and will be making a rather large pot of soup    and hopefully the rest we will manage to get in the freezer

Regards

Those were the days - haven't really tried pumpkins since these in 2006 - I was still in pounds then.

Wow Geoff! I remember those from when you last posted the pic! Still can't believe it! did thay make for good eating?

I have only one, rather small pumpkin this year, but I am still keen to make something delicious with it. Apart from soup and the US sweet pie (which I don't like), what else can be done please?
