Hi, Last November I planted some new raspberry canes, these were summer fruiting varieties, and were cut back to approx. 6" after planting. As I understood it the plants would make growth this year, and bear fruit in 2014. After fruiting, I should cut down the fruited canes, and tie in the new growth of 2014, for fruiting in 2015. My query is, some of this years growth has produced fruit!! which I was not expecting, so do I just leave them and will they crop again in 2014? Many thanks.
