As you may have seen from the KG website front, the Great Yorkshire Show was cancelled last night after just one day. That's such a shame - just think of all the work, effort and cost which must have gone into the preparation and now the weather has ruined it. One of our granddaughters was there yesterday and it poured in the afternoon, turning the car parks into quagmires. Although they had put in new roads and drains, eventually tractors and caterpillars had to pull out the four-wheeled vehicles - the first time the show has had to be cancelled because of he weather in its 154 year history!
And the annoying thing is, that today the weather been lovely and the forecast is similar for tomorrow.

Such a shame. I hope next weeks Tatton Park still goes ahead as my tickets came yesterday. Does anyone know if KG will have a presence their?
