Thank you for your good wishes. I spent the morning driving back from the North East where I had been visiting family as last Wednesday was my youngest granddaughters sixth birthday it was also my youngest grandson's birthday ( they were both born on the 4th of July)!

Then on Sunday it was my eldest granddaughters sixteenth birthday.

A very expensive month!

John took me out for a meal at our favourite restaurant and while we were there a gentleman was celebrating his 90th birthday so I went over to have a word with him when he looked at me and said 'Oh you were here last year'. It was only then that I recognised him. I then said 'See you next year'.
