The OH has in the conservatory a potted lemon tree some 2ft 6" tall [sorry I am still Imperial], has three nice lemons on it plus many very small ones, trouble is the leaves are starting to yellow slightly, any ideas .

Do use a citrus feed, they like to be on the acid side and get yellowing on the leaves if they aren't. The other possibility is over watering. I let mine get a bit more on the dry side at this time of the year.
Glad you've got fruit, it sounds to be doing OK. I picked one of my lemons for a lemon meringue pie last week along with my own hens' eggs and it was delicious.
