Dear Elaine, i'm so sorry Tibby Puss is no longer with you.
I think most of us have been through the loss of a pet, and know exactly what you are going through a the present.
So all i'll say is, my thoughts are with you at such a sad time.

So sorry Elaine. It's like losing a member of the family when a much loved pet dies but I know through experience that having to take the decision that you did is horrendous - just be comforted by the knowledge that you did the right thing.

Elaine

Sorry to hear of your loss. It's an empty feeling, but believe me, three months after our last cat died, the sense of loss will pass, but very slowly.

Sorry to hear about Tibby Puss. It is heartbreaking
loosing a pet and leaves such a void both emotionally
as part of the family and physically around the house.

At this moment it is little consolation that you did the right
thing but time does heal and it not so raw eventually. I
have always got another pet quite quickly just to avoid the
quiet and emptiness - it is not a replacement but a brand
new character and personality to join the family.
