I'm trying melon this year, I will grow them in the greenhouse at home, which is under used once everything is planted out. I forget which variety it is.

I grow Cape Gooseberries in the greenhouse every so often, this year being one of them. :D they are lovely flavoured fruits. Grandson used to refer to them as "those ready wrapped up thingies" and loved them. As Hilary said, they do take up a lot of room though. I never had any problems with them and they seem to have no problems ripening.
Happy with my lot
