One American who tried it said he used the rest of the jar to cement his chimney after a storm.
Family member here hates it; all that salt.. BUT I think that in both cases they use far too much and not a mere smear...

Not had any for ages... hmmmm

Do they still make Twiglets?

Marmite brought out a OX version at christmas time and I was lucky enough to find a jar in my stocking this christmas ....Oh yum :wink:
Wish they would do a extra hot chilli version that would be heaven.

I actully keep a jar in the car in case I go some where where they dont have any.... :roll:

I like cheese crackers with it spread on, topped with a little cottage cheese .
If I could of done it my way I would of done it by now .......

I did wonder if you were from the west country then I read your disceiption of where you live and decided it was the south of france ..... :roll:

Alan its meant to mean extra old ...so it has more of a pokey flavour
