Research into producing electricity from urine has been carried out by scientists at the University of the West of England (UWE) in Bristol.

It seems there needs to be a lot more research into this subject, as they are only generating a wee amount of electric at the moment.

Saw an electric car here yesterday; owned by and advertising ESB. The prices they charge for electricity would make your eyes water. But then the cost of petrol here is appalling too. I remember when it was 4 shillings a gallon....
