Been thanked: 1 time

Have some of ours here in West Cork.. been deluging all day and still more to come... I know; this is what makes Ireland green..

Well you can't have an Emerald Isle without a little bit of water.
In the meantime, I'm not sure about getting water piped down from the North. Won't it taste funny?

Stuff from Cork, well that's different. It always tasted lovely when diluted with a wee jolt of Paddy

Those of you who may be short of water can come up here and take home all you want, bring an water tanker if you like. Please be aware it must only be for personal use and not for resale. Also could you ask "johnboy" to stop inferring he is from the North, as he is about six hundred miles south of me !! same message to member from "north" wiltshire, shoudn't that be slightly higher wiltshire ?

Hi URQ48,
I cannot recall ever suggesting that I come from the north. Perhaps you may give me a instance of what you mean .
I live in North West Herefordshire very close the the Mid-Wales border.
Certainly there are people who contribute that come from south of where I live but me coming from the North is something I really cannot recall every saying.
Sincerely,
JB.
