Green fly and bug

Can't identify that mould? Got a great tip for keeping slugs at bay? Suggestions for organic weed control? Post them here...

Hi
I have some green fly on my salads which i am selling to restaurants also an unidentified brown bug thats is small and looks like a seed from a distance (picture attatched, poor quality sorry) I would normally just wash it off but as im selling to restaurants I need to try to remove these little blitters.
The bugs are right down in the middle of the plants!
Any suggestions please?

I know it's not a short term answer, but if you have a high population of predators or beneficial insects then you won't suffer major populations of pests with a little effort you can encourage the good guys into your garden
and leave that job to them. It's tempting to get out the spray but that can make the problem worse if you kill off your beneficial insects too.
For next season try and recruit your garden friends or pest patrol, lots of ideas here...
