Just opened my e-mails and in the monthly KM Update it says Ken has died aged 85. He must have spent a great deal of that 85 years making fruit trees available to all and I must say any I have bought off them, although not always the cheapest have always flourished.

Another great loss to the gardening world.
Kind Regards, Old Herbaceous.

Hi Westi,
I am saddened to hear that Ken Muir has passed away. He was a great person but a very very unassuming person and exceedingly kind.
He was a true gentleman. If somebody was wrong on something he would very carefully choose his words so as not to hurt the persons feelings and very calmly explain what was correct.
As you say Westi may he rest in peace.
JB.
