I just ordered some green manure from Marshalls new summer catalogue and was surprised to get a free book with my order, Joy Larkom Grow your own vegetables rrp £9.99. just thought it worth mentioning if any of the new gardeners here want to catch the free book when ordering stuff they need. :)

Have just had a browse and it looks a pretty comprehensive guide, no glossy illustrations but lots of written info on 367 pages. in a paperback.

I have owned Joy Larkom's book for a few years, NB, and find it very useful as a reference book. Well worth having!
