The bottom ends of my strawbs look like the skin has been eaten off, another plotholder says this is some kind of beetle that eats the strwawberry seeds, any thoughts?

Could be slugs, mice, voles ?
Sit down before a fact as a little child, be prepared to give up every preconcieved notion, follow humbly wherever and to whatever abyss nature leads, or you shall learn nothing.

No this is a different kind of damage, the outer lower skin has been nibbled away, and it has gone brown also looks like the seeds have been eaten out
Lots of others have it on the plot too
