Tomato Ring Culture

I have been reading recently about the use of ring cultures for tomatoes, sweet peppers, aubergines and cucumbers. I’m thinking of using them on my grow bags this year. Has anyone used them before and do they really work?

Peet, we had a very recent discussion on this same Forum (see "Can I grow ....." posted by MikA) which will probably answer your question. I have certainly explained my method which just involves three pots with their bottoms cut off rather than bought ring culture pots.
